Sunicon AG, a one-hundred percent subsidiary of SolarWorld AG, is responsible for silicon provision of the corporation. The construction of solar silicon manufacturing specific to the corporation takes on a central significance in maintaining raw material. Various procedures with respect to their operability and economic viability within industrial preparation are developed and evaluated under the umbrella of Sunicon AG, which was founded in 2007 at Freiberg/Saxony. Currently, there are 84 employees working at Sunicon AG at Freiberg.
